Sea views: The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. I felt like I was in a postcard, with the sparkling blue sea stretching out before me. It was like having my own private window to paradise.
Parking: Limited parking space was the only minor inconvenience.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration of Villa Socrates. The interior was tastefully done and had a warm and cozy feel to it. The general areas of the villa, such as the pool and terrace, were easily accessible for senior people like me, with no stairs to climb and plenty of comfortable seating options. It was a delight to relax by the pool and enjoy the stunning views of the sea. The children working there were also very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have some grab bars in the bathroom. This would provide extra support and make it easier for us to move around safely.

This villa had a great pool and free parking, perfect for my private pool parties. The beach and airport were conveniently close, and the balcony had a stunning view of the garden.
Who needs a hook in the bathroom when you can practice your showerhead juggling skills?

We stayed at this wonderful villa for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal, just a short walk away from Skala but peaceful enough to feel truly relaxed. The views from the villa are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from every area of the property. The pool area, barbecue, and sitting areas are fantastic, providing plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. The owners have thought of everything, as the villa is well equipped and beautifully furnished with a homely touch. The family running the villa went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and even had the fridge stocked with essentials, wine, and fresh fruit upon our arrival. We will definitely be returning to this remarkable place.
I recommend this hotel.

The villa was well-equipped and the generous welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and even accommodated our late departure request. The location was perfect, with the villa being walking distance from Skala, but away from the hustle and bustle, providing a peaceful atmosphere. We also appreciated the fact that the owners treated us like family throughout our stay.
We felt like part of the family during our stay at Villa Socrates and had no complaints whatsoever.

I absolutely loved my stay at this villa. It was hands down the best villa I have ever stayed in. The view from the terrace and pool area was absolutely stunning and made for a truly memorable experience. The villa itself was beautifully decorated and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that I had a fantastic time and even provided a generous welcome pack filled with local produce. The outdoor space was spacious and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing by the infinity pool or enjoying a BBQ. The nearby beaches, especially Mounda Beach, were lovely and offered plenty of activities. I would highly recommend Villa Socrates to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable holiday experience on the beautiful island of Kefalonia.
The only minor suggestion I have is to have a hook on the bathroom walls so that showerheads don't have to be held while showering. Other than that, everything was perfect.
